General
We are headquartered in Ottapalam, Palakkad district, Kerala, India. We serve clients across India, the UK, the UAE, Singapore, and Australia. All work is done by our in-house team — we do not subcontract.
We were founded in 2015 and incorporated as Sangamam Communications Private Limited. That means we've been through the Jio-era mobile explosion, the pandemic-driven digital shift, and now the AI revolution — all of which have shaped how we think about building technology.
Yes, and we enjoy it. We have ongoing client relationships in the UK and UAE. We maintain flexible working hours to overlap with UK and Gulf time zones, use async-friendly tools like Slack and Notion, and produce detailed written documentation so nothing falls through the gaps.
We are a senior-led team. The people who scope your project are the same people who build it. We don't hand off to juniors after kickoff. We also operate our own products (Softinsan CRM, WhatsApp platform, School ERP) — which means we have skin in the game when it comes to understanding what good software actually needs to do.
Development
Our primary stack is PHP 8.3 (Laravel and Core PHP), MySQL, JavaScript (React, Vue), Flutter for mobile, and WordPress. On the cloud side we work with AWS, GCP, and Azure. For AI integrations we use OpenAI's API and Anthropic's Claude API.
Yes. This is actually a significant part of our work. We conduct a structured technical audit — reviewing the codebase, database schema, hosting configuration, security posture, and documentation — then provide a written report before any development begins. There are no surprises.
Yes. We develop cross-platform mobile applications in Flutter, which runs natively on both Android and iOS from a single codebase. For projects that need platform-specific performance, we also develop in native Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS).
We target a Lighthouse score of 95+ on every project. This means WebP images with lazy loading, critical CSS inlining, deferred JavaScript, server-side caching (Redis or Varnish), database query optimisation, and CDN integration where applicable. Performance is baked in from day one, not bolted on at the end.
Yes. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA compliance as standard. This covers semantic HTML5, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, colour contrast ratios, focus management, and ARIA labelling where needed. Accessibility is not optional — it's both an ethical requirement and increasingly a legal one.
Pricing
The large majority of our projects are quoted on a fixed-price basis after a discovery session and scope document. This means you know the total cost before we start, with payment split across defined milestones. For ongoing work (maintenance, SEO, development support), we offer monthly retainer plans.
Our minimum project engagement is ₹50,000 (approximately £500 or AED 2,200). Smaller tasks such as individual WordPress fixes, isolated SEO audits, or plugin installations are handled through our Softinsan support tickets service.
Yes. Standard payment structure is: 40% upfront to begin, 30% at design approval and mid-project milestone, and 30% on final delivery. For larger projects we can structure additional intermediate milestones with corresponding payments.
No. Our proposals clearly separate our development fee from third-party costs — hosting, domain registration, premium plugins, API subscriptions, stock photography. You pay those directly or we bill them through at cost with no markup, depending on your preference.
Process
We follow an Agile-inspired approach with two-week sprints. After an initial discovery call and proposal, we move into design (Figma wireframes and prototypes), then iterative development with staging site reviews at each sprint end, then QA and launch. You review working software throughout — not just at the end.
You get a dedicated project manager as your single point of contact. We use Slack or WhatsApp for day-to-day messages, Notion for project documentation and sprint tasks, and weekly video calls for progress reviews. You'll never chase us for a status update.
All projects include a 30-day post-launch warranty period where we fix any bugs or issues at no additional charge. After that, clients can move to a maintenance retainer (which covers updates, security patches, monitoring, and priority support), or contact us for project-based work as needed.
SEO & Marketing
AEO is the practice of structuring website content so it appears in AI-generated answers on platforms like Google's AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, and ChatGPT search. It involves FAQ schema, How-To schema, clear heading structure, concise direct answers to common questions, and entity relationships. It's a layer on top of traditional SEO, not a replacement for it.
GEO focuses specifically on being cited and referenced by AI-powered search tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude.ai, and Google's Gemini in their web answers. It involves building topical authority, having clear entity markup, maintaining accurate business data across the web, and creating the kind of authoritative content that AI models draw on when generating answers.
Honest answer: meaningful organic traffic movement typically takes 3–6 months for competitive keywords and 1–3 months for local or niche terms. We don't promise page-one rankings in 30 days — anyone who does is either targeting low-value keywords or will disappear after the first payment. We show transparent monthly reporting so you can see exactly what's moving and why.
Products
Yes, every product we offer is designed to be customised. Softinsan CRM, School ERP, and our other products are not locked-down SaaS tools — they are software frameworks that we adapt to your workflows, terminology, and integrations. Custom modules can be added for specific requirements.
Both options are available. We can host on our infrastructure through Softinsan's managed cloud hosting (CloudPanel/LiteSpeed servers in India), or we can deploy to your own AWS, Google Cloud, or cPanel hosting. For enterprise clients, self-hosted deployment on your servers is the standard.
Support
Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:30pm IST. Saturday, 10:00am–4:00pm IST. For clients on maintenance retainer plans, we offer extended support windows and emergency response for critical issues outside business hours.
Under our maintenance retainer: critical bugs (site down, data loss) are addressed within 4 hours. High severity (major feature broken) within 24 hours. Medium/low severity within 5 business days. For non-retainer clients, we offer paid emergency support with similar response targets.
